HISTORY
Story first. Always.
I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing and performing were early creative outlets—but the family video camera changed everything. Long before accessible editing software, I was experimenting with composition, homemade effects, and in-camera editing on VHS. I didn’t know the formal language of filmmaking yet. I simply loved turning ideas into something people could watch.
That curiosity led me to earn a degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University and, in 2006, move to Los Angeles to build a career in entertainment and media.
Since then, I’ve worked across independent film, branded content, entertainment marketing, and corporate storytelling. My experience spans across a number of notable brands including, AMPAS, MotorTrend, HOT ROD, Warner Bros. Discovery, Homes.com, Apartments.com, the NAACP Image Awards, and productions including Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-winning Django Unchained and the Oscar-nominated feature film Marshall.
At Hudlin Entertainment, I worked alongside producer and director Reginald Hudlin on an ambitious slate of film, television, and live-event projects. I developed pitch materials, supported major productions, collaborated with talent and executives, and helped execute branded content for partners including DC Comics, Milestone, and Ford.
I later spent seven years at MotorTrend, growing from Copywriter to Supervising Producer. There, I wrote, produced, directed, and led campaigns across television, streaming, FAST, social, and digital platforms. I also managed a multidisciplinary team responsible for an expanding volume of creative work, helping increase annual video output by 30 percent while supporting significant audience growth across the brand.
Today, I bring that experience to companies, agencies, production teams, and mission-driven organizations as an independent creative partner. Recent engagements have included producing, writing, and editing campaigns for Homes.com and Apartments.com, combining brand strategy, creative development, production leadership, and hands-on execution.
I’m comfortable moving between the big picture and the fine print—from shaping the central idea to writing the script, directing the shoot, guiding the edit, and delivering the finished work. I can lead a team, strengthen an existing one, or step in as a versatile creative resource when a project needs momentum.
I’m also a licensed private pilot and FAA-certified commercial drone pilot. Through Airspeed & Altitude, the aviation channel I co-created, I combine filmmaking and flight to celebrate remarkable aircraft, preserve aviation history, and elevate the people who keep that world moving.
Whatever the subject or scale, my ethos remains the same: begin with curiosity, collaborate generously, and carry a strong idea all the way through execution.
From first thought to final frame, I help brands find the story—and make it matter.
